To be honest, it tastes and feels like they simply added chili powder or some sort of red chili liquid to regular mountain dew. I looked at the ingredients hoping to find the ingredient for the “spiciness” but it wasn’t listed. However, I didn’t find anything about this soda “spicy” or like Flamin’ Hot Cheetos. Probably not the best type of reaction for a soda to have. The “spiciness” might make you sneeze or cough, maybe even have a runny nose. Again, not truly spicy, more like a soft and sweet tingly feeling. There’s a very soft lingering “spiciness” on the tongue similar to eating the Hot Tamales cinnamon candy. The “spiciness” also feels more like a wasabi burn in the nose and back of the throat and not like a regular burning tongue and mouth kind of spiciness.
